Dr. Ayad is a Clinical Pathologist, with a keen interest in preventive medicine of infectious diseases.

Dr. Ayad graduated from the University of Basrah in 1976. He was also granted a PhD in Medical Microbiology from the University of London in 1988. Dr. Ayad returned to the UAE in 2006 and was appointed as Laboratory Director in charge of the Preventive Medicine Laboratories.

In the UAE, he has also worked at the Salus Referral Laboratory and to multi-speciality hospital in Dubai and Sharjah, where he held the position of Clinical Pathologist and Laboratory Director. Dr. Ayad has shown a keen interest in preventive medicine of infectious diseases.
